The Position

Our Maryland-based bank client is seeking to fill a hybrid remote AVP-VP, Title Banking Relationship Manager role in the Rockville, MD area. The successful candidate will focus on deposit growth of the Settlement and Title Portfolio by developing and maintaining client relations through multiple sources such as asking for referrals, cross-selling, networking, and proactive sales outreach to exceed annual portfolio growth goals.

The position offers a generous salary of up to $85K plus incentives and a full benefits package. (This is a hybrid remote position – close to the Rockville, MD area).

Title Banking Relationship Manager responsibilities include:

  • Managing new and existing customer accounts and providing financial solutions and great service, while maintaining conformance with established Bank policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Bringing new title companies and settlement attorneys to bank with the Bank for their deposit account needs.
  • Following guidance from senior leadership to execute the bank’s strategy for product mix, geographic location, etc.
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing all account types.
  • Keeping track of sales activities and opportunities.
  • Seeking out opportunities to promote business for the Bank by maintaining good client and community relations and referring to appropriate staff for new accounts and services.
  • Working in concert with other members of the Title Portfolio Department as well as the Servicing Branch to ensure excellence in client care.
  • Adhering and complying with new account opening procedures for both personal and business account relationships.
  • Assisting clients in their selection of various accounts and financial services.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year, accredited institution
  • Three years of banking experience with business customers, preferably title companies.
  • Knowledge of IOLTA, MAHT, RESPA, and Escrow accounts, as well as cash management services and analysis checking.
  • Proven sales ability with a track record of success.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills.
