The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Bank Branch Manager role in the Pittsburgh, PA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the branch operations for the branch and for establishing a work environment that delivers an excellent experience for both customers and employees. Additionally, primary responsibility will be the handling of all residential mortgages and home equity loans for the branch.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $85K and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)

Bank Branch Manager responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and actively support your staff of three experienced full-time employees, assisting with daily branch operations as needed.
  • Originating, underwriting, presenting for approval, and closing residential mortgage and home equity loans.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing the bank’s marketing strategy.
  • Preparing and conducting annual employee evaluations and provide employee coaching to foster the development of your team.
  • Ensuring adherence to all bank operational, lending, security, and regulatory-related policy and procedures.
  • Overseeing and coordinating all branch office maintenance needs.
  • Representing the bank in local organizations to increase our visibility in the community.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field of study.
  • Five or more years of bank management experience.
  • Three or more years of residential lending experience that includes underwriting skills.
  • NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 is a plus.
  • Understanding of retail banking products and services.
  • Knowledge related to bank regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through both written and oral formats.
  • Strong PC skills, with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
