The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Loan Department Administrative Assistant role in the Elk Grove Village, IL market. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to multiple lenders including customer correspondence.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $50K and excellent benefits package.

Administrative Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support for the Loan department.
  • Operations responsibilities including processing, documentation and servicing of loans.
  • Establish and maintain various databases, files, and other records.
  • Organize, manage, and track multiple assignments and supplies.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external visitors,
  • Develop working relationships with various bank department personnel.
  • Assist in compiling documentation requested by internal and external departments.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for loan personnel.
  • Greet office visitors, answer phone calls, and offer assistance.
  • Copy documents, take minutes, prepare mailings, distribute interoffice mail.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Five or more years’ experience in loan operations, loan documentation or mortgage processing.
  • Experience in Consumer and Mortgage loan processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and set priorities.
  • Ability to identify, think through, and resolve problems quickly.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to take on other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Fiserv and LaserPro a plus.
