The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Marketing Coordinator role to be based in the Wheeling, IL market. The selected candidate will be responsible for working with the Director of Marketing in the development and execution of marketing materials and advertisements, both internally and externally, and branding the Bank as a sound financial institution that is poised for ongoing growth.

Marketing Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with community sponsorship opportunities in the various markets to include event planning and coordination of in-branch promotions and campaigns.
  • Assisting Marketing Director with the delivery of various advertising and marketing collateral including print, digital, direct mail and in-branch merchandising.
  • Updating the Bank’s website, Facebook and LinkedIn content regularly and monitor web activity via Mention.
  • Assisting with creating materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentations and reports.
  • Arranging and coordinating special projects and mailings.
  • Working with third party vendors, as necessary, to execute the production of print materials, marketing collateral, branch merchandising and promotional products.
  • Assisting with maintaining budgets, schedules and tracking for various campaigns.
  • Providing overall support to the Marketing Department to include various administrative tasks.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business with emphasis in Marketing. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Five more years of experience in marketing/advertising, PR or related position.
  • Financial Industry knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of graphic and database tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong creative and artistic abilities.
  • Ability to speak in and understand marketing and technological terms.
  • Strong digital marketing skills and online strategy development.
  • Proven ability to measure marketing results.
