The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Bank Regulatory Compliance Analyst within 1 hour of the Austin, TX market. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing adherence of establishment’s policies and procedures to federal and state laws and regulations.

This position offers a generous salary of up to $75K and a full benefits package.

Bank Regulatory Compliance Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Conducting enhanced due diligence information gathering and initial reviews for high risk customers.
  • Preforming compliance training, compliance testing and reporting.
  • Collaborating on corrective actions for identified compliance weaknesses.
  • Assisting in the development of disclosures and procedures that meet regulatory requirements for new products and services.
  • Examining Bank’s website to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinating with legal counsel and operating departments to ensure adherence to laws. and regulations relating to new or revised products and services offerings.
  • Travel as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, 4-year degree preferred.
  • 3 or more years’ previous bank compliance experience
  • Thorough understanding of federal compliance regulations for financial institutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication with all levels of staff.
  • Understanding of banking computer systems; ability to operate computer work stations, word and excel.
  • CRCM preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in construction loan administration a plus.
  • Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending and all banking regulations where applicable.
