The Position

Our client is seeking a Banking Branch Manager role in the San Francisco, CA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing superior client experience in the branch while delivering results that align with business objectives.

Banking Branch Manager responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing, leading, and directing the branch with regards to operations, sales, and regulatory compliance to meet assigned lending and deposit goals.
  • Developing programs to maximize branch profitability, minimize risk, and to improve customer service and product knowledge.
  • Lender responsibilities include processing, underwriting, and approving loans within assigned limits.
  • Reviewing branch reports for compliance and accuracy.
  • Providing challenging opportunities to team members that enhance employee career growth as well as recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
  • Administers personnel and salary policies.
  • Meeting or exceeding assigned branch core deposit goals.
  • Analyzing branch expenses and implementing strategies to reduce overhead.
  • Participating in branch functions and community activities to promote bank’s image and growth.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and three years of banking management and lending experience.
  • Basic knowledge of banking management techniques and lending concepts.
  • Sales-oriented with ability to motivate and lead employees in providing a sales and customer service oriented environment is required.
  • Proven ability to manage retail sales team to achieve threshold activity levels and performance goals.
  • Proven leadership quality with strong ability to supervise and instruct.
  • Proficiency with banking computer systems and related software is required.
