The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Banking Center Managers role in the greater Doylestown, PA market. The successful candidates will need to be a progressive, professional, and community minded banking center managers that can lead banking centers within market.

Banking Center Manager responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring branch profitability, sales and growth goals are met or exceeded.
  • Leading the banking center efforts to refer cross-selling opportunities to insurance, investment, commercial and mortgage groups.
  • Servicing new and existing small business customers assigned to the branch with the goal to retain and develop system lock-in by evaluating cross-selling opportunities for other deposits, loans, insurance, investments and mortgages.
  • Managing the selection, performance, promotion and coaching of banking center team members.
  • Providing challenging opportunities to team members that enhance employee career growth as well as recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
  • Serving as the banking center representative in the community and actively participating in community events and organizations.
  • Working in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with team members, peers and senior management.
  • Actively learns, demonstrates and fosters the bank’s culture in all actions and words and sets a positive example for others to emulate.
  • Representing the bank in various civic and community functions to further enhance the bank’s reputation while developing additional opportunities for business.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience in banking and finance.
  • Four years’ experience in banking and consumer lending experience.
  • Three or more years’ years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Proven ability to sell and cross-sell bank products and services.
  • Proven ability to manage retail sales team to achieve threshold activity levels and performance goals.
  • Prior active involvement in community organizations.
  • Excellent supervisory, interpersonal, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with banking computer systems and related software is required.
