The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Branch Manager (Private Banking) role in the Palm Beach, FL area. This selected candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships and selling financial services such as deposit accounts, loans, wealth management referrals, etc. to consumers through business development.

This position includes a generous salary of up to $75K and a full benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

Branch Manager (Private Banking) responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating activities of the Private Banking Center including ensuring quality customer service and compliance with operational policy, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the financial center office in a specified region.
  • Focusing on private client business development and financial center management.
  • Determining customer and financial services needs and preparing proposals to sell services that address these needs.
  • Resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Maintaining records related to business development and sales. Including call logs, book of business, etc.
  • Maintaining and developing prospects from current commercial customers, referral leads, networking events, current book of business, branch network, etc.
  • Managing brand ambassadors in your region to ensure the development of niche and other business development efforts.
  • Contacting prospective customers to present information and explain available services.
  • Representing the company in the community including through networking groups, and volunteering to promote products and develop business opportunities.
  • Recommending ways to meet emerging client needs through proper channels.
  • Presenting sales and service activities in Business Development Meeting with Head of Private Banking.
  • Reviewing all performance management in a specified region including performance reviews, performance memos, and performance goals for employees in the assigned center.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but can be substituted with bank management experience.
  • Eight or more years of progressive retail banking experience.
  • Five or more years of business development experience with developed private client relationships.
  • Book of business is preferred but must have private client relationships to build on.
  • Business Development experience – in Private Client environments preferred.
  • Staff management and bank center leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop new business.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
