The Position

Our Ohio-based client is seeking to fill a Remote BSA/AML Compliance Analyst role. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating complex automation and systems to assist with internal workflows and ongoing monitoring. The candidate will be developing and maintaining a Complaint Management Program that is compliant with all Consumer Compliance regulations.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $70K and an excellent benefits package. (This is a remote position.)

BSA/AML Compliance Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Compliance Officer in the completion of ongoing compliance monitoring programs to report on the bank’s compliance with various state and federal regulations.
  • Sustaining lines of communication with the entire Fintech Risk Team and other departments to ensure they are getting the information they need from one another.
  • Working with the Fintech Risk team to understand the business objectives and while ensuring an ongoing culture that complies with BSA and consumer compliance regulations.
  • Managing and troubleshoots.
  • Monitoring account activity to ensure compliance with OFAC requirements.
  • Creating documentation and effectively communicating between teams.
  • Maintaining a current thorough understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal activities, and developing trends.
  • Recognizing and adhering to compliance with all bank consumer regulations and laws including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.
  • Filing all required reports and documents with the appropriate federal agency and responding quickly to all lawful requests for information from law enforcement agencies.

You also bring the following skills and experience: 

  • High school graduate, college degree preferred.
  • Four or more years of prior banking experience in anti-money laundering is required.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State Anti-Money Laundering compliance statutes and regulations.
  • Background in deposit or lending operations with knowledge of applicable regulations; bank compliance and/or internal audit a plus.
  • Bank Compliance Regulatory Management Certificate (CRCM) is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret statutes and regulations.
  • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
