The Position

Our Wyoming-based bank client is seeking a fill a Remote Commercial Credit Analyst role. The selected candidate will perform detailed financial and collateral analysis of credit requests and completes presentations on findings to commercial lenders and senior management. The candidate will be underwriting and risk analysis of individuals, companies and industries within the served markets.

This position offers a competitive salary of up to $85K and a full benefits package.

Commercial Credit Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Structuring credit requests, developing complex credit investigations, and portfolio monitoring tasks including covenant compliance and annual reviews.
  • Conducting detailed, financial, and collateral analysis on credit requests.
  • Analyzing financial information and prepare conclusions for commercial lenders based on factual metrics.
  • Preparing written analysis, spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and opinions.
  • Researching and prepare background documentation including cash flow projections, personal and business financial statements, industry/market analysis, and feasibility of the transaction.
  • Preparing or assist in the preparation of loan memorandum for presentation to lenders and/or loan committee.
  • Collaborating with other analysts and lenders to manage the underwriting pipeline/workflow.
  • Performing research related to projects such as industry studies, management reports, and trend analysis.
  • Working with internal business units to ensure prompt loan processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Interpreting and applying Bank credit policies.
  • Assisting in the development of other analysts.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall operations of the Credit/Loan department.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or related field preferred with two or more years of related accounting, lending, or credit analysis experience.
  • Experience working with complex credits.
  • Experience working with CRE and C&I credits.
  • Completion of formal credit training program.
  • Adherence to all bank human resources policies and procedures, federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of personal/business financial statements and tax returns.
  • Written and verbal communications are clear and concise.
  • Must have solid PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn company systems.
  • Display high reasoning skills with the ability to define and resolve problems.
  • Take the initiative to solve problems and improve efficiencies and processes within the scope of authority.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
