The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst role in the Philadelphia, PA market. The successful Credit Analyst candidate will be responsible for preparation of credit applications and annual reviews, provide guidance to lenders, maintain working knowledge of legal requirements, loan pricing analysis, etc. for Commercial Real Estate loans.

This position comes with a generous salary of up to $80K and full benefits package.

Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Three or more years’ commercial real estate credit/lending experience required.
  • Accounting/finance and commercial real estate credit analysis background strongly preferred.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand, analyze and interpret financial statements, reports and legal documents.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Five or more years of commercial lending experience.
  • Formal credit training preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial credit policies and procedures, and bank operations policies and procedures.
  • Good credit analysis and accounting skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships within the bank and capable of establishing professional expertise through integrity, dedication, and strategic counsel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
