The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Credit Administration Documentation Specialist role in the greater Los Angeles, CA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing credit administrative functions to produce loan documentation for all commercial and SBA loans.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $65K and excellent benefits package.

Credit Administration Documentation Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Booking new commercial loans and information into the core system using LaserPro.  
  • Processing loan payments, payoffs, line advances and wire transfers as needed.
  • Processing paid loans and release collateral.
  • Assisting in ordering of appraisals, title policies, credit reports, filing deeds of trust.
  • Filing and monitoring incoming loan documentation.
  • Maintaining both Credit and Collateral files.
  • Reviewing of loan files to ensure collateral perfection.
  • Loading loan requests into the loan doc system to produce documents for signing.
  • Maintaining knowledge of all state and federal regulations that are applicable to the transactions performed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Associates Degree in finance or accounting. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in lending or credit functions
  • PC literate in MS Word and Excel; organized and detail-oriented with the ability to function in a team environment; bilingual (English/Mandarin) is a plus.
  • Ability to pay attention to the details and make a conscious effort to understand causes instead of effects, in a second nature.
  • Thorough understanding of the funding process.
  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Safeguarding confidential and protected information covered by privacy law and company policy.
  • Must work independently and as a member of team.
