The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Deposit Operations Analyst role located in the Northbrook, IL market. This selected candidate will be responsible for complete all assigned daily deposit functions including but not limited to processing Client corrections, fund transfers, wire transfers, exception items, and general ledger reconciliation.

This position includes a generous base salary and full benefits package.

Deposit Operations Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring Debit Card and ATM transactions.
  • Reviewing hold, stop payments, online banking and ACH reports.
  • Reconciling, monitoring and resolving assigned general ledgers.
  • Maintaining accurate customer data in the bank operations database.
  • Processing Regulation E claims/losses on Debit Cards.
  • Processing wire fund transfers and other customer funds-transfer related requests.
  • Supporting the Bank’s internal retail and commercial banking departments by responding to questions and resolving issues.
  • Conducting research to provide solutions concerning customer deposit account, electronic banking, and bill payment problems.
  • Preparing system-generated checks and notices for mailing and system-generated reports for distribution.
  • Performing edit reviews of maintenance and transactions completed by others.
  • Processing and performing maintenance of debit cards.
  • Completing and maintaining all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
  • Completing additional projects as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • High school diploma or GED. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in a financial institution within the operations area.
  • Experience in deposit operations with a bank, preferred.
  • Previous experience using Fiserv Premier Navigator System and online banking and remote deposit capture, a plus.
  • Firm understanding of debits, credits, and mathematical skills.
  • Technologically proficient.
  • A strong commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
