The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Financial Investment Call Center Rep.  role in the Rosemont, IL market. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing information, support and resolution in a professional manner concerning the client’s investment fund and its products and services to its customers and prospects, ensuring the highest quality of customer service. Promote and actively cross sell other investment products and services.

This Full-Time Temp-to-Perm position comes with a salary of up to $16.00.

Financial Investment Call Center Rep responsibilities include:

  • Providing superior customer service by being courteous, friendly and professional to both existing and prospective customers, while responding to inquiries, including, but not limited to; general customer inquiries, electronic services, product information, marketing offers. ln conjunction with on-screen customer information, identify the customer’s needs by actively listening, asking probing questions while simultaneously updating customer information on the system.
  • Identifying and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner to assure customer resolution and satisfaction. Taking ownership of each call and provide first call resolution.
  • Accurately completing appropriate documents for required transactions.
  • Assessing the information presented by the customer to process next steps according to the nature of the inquiry.
  • Providing timely follow up on all calls 100% of the time.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times on customer and employee data. Adhering to the Client’s established policy and procedure guidelines.
  • Promoting and actively cross selling other Client investment products and services.
  • identifying opportunities for other Client products/services and refer to proper center of expertise.
  • Performing other duties as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of experience and education.
  • Three or more years of Call Center experience along with one or more years of Bank or Credit Union customer service experience.
  • Experience in skilled typing and basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, motivating and planning skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent mathematical and writing skills.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • High energy level and comfortable handling difficult customer issues. Must be able to adapt quickly to changes and accept them in a supportive and professional manner.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively multi-task and work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
