The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Human Resources Assistant role in the Hinsdale, IL market. The successful candidate will be responsible for preforming a variety of administrative duties relating to personnel functions and programs including employment recruitment, worker compensation, benefit administration and employee relations.

This opportunity offers generous compensation of up to $56K  and full benefits package.

Human Resources Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Providing recruitment and selection for nonexempt and exempt staff. Includes job postings, pre-screening interviews and background screenings, coordinating interview process and preparing offers of employment.
  • Tracking and monitoring of goal setting and performance review completions, and associated compensation changes.
  • Coordinating, scheduling and tracking on-boarding orientation and training for new and existing staff.
  • Managing employee safety, welfare, wellness and health reporting.
  • Maintaining employee files and the Human Resources filing system.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the Human Resources Department including regulatory and senior management reporting.
  • Working as part of a team to execute strategies aligned with the Bank’s vision and consistent with the Bank’s strategic plans.
  • Building, managing and maintaining cost effective relationships with outside vendors to meet the Bank’s established needs.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business preferred along with Human Resourced Certifications.
  • Five or more years’ human resources generalist experience.
  • Financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, as well as, oral.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal regulatory rules, regulations and policies.
  • An energetic and positive outlook when working with others, both internally and externally.
  • A forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.
  • An individual that represents themselves in a professional manner at all times.
