The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Junior Mortgage Loan Processor role in the greater Atlanta, GA market. The successful Mortgage Loan Processor candidate will be responsible for providing clerical and customer service support to an assigned Mortgage Loan Originator

Junior Mortgage Loan Processor responsibilities include:

  • Following established Bank policies and procedures while processing and servicing mortgage loans.
  • Pulling and evaluating credit reports.
  • Sending disclosures.
  • Maintaining an understanding of guidelines for conventional/government loans
  • Answering and servicing incoming phone calls from both internal and external customers.
  • Analyzing income and assets.
  • Sending missed items lists to borrowers.
  • Managing a pipeline of loans.
  • Ordering titles.

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in the mortgage industry, preferably processing loans.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate, loan documentation, lien documentation, as well as state and federal compliance and lending regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and innovatively as part of a team.
  • Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and conflicting deadlines.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office.
