The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Loan Administration Manager role to be based in the Tyler TX market. The successful candidate will oversee the Loan Administration Department and staff.

This position offers a generous base salary of up to $100K and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)

Loan Administration Manager responsibilities include:

  • Managing and leading a team, project management, workflow, reviews, and resolving any disciplinary issues.
  • Managing processes and preparing and/or coordinating preparation of documents for all loans originated including commercial real estate and consumer real estate.
  • Handling all loan servicing, monthly SBA reporting, monthly settlements of participated loans, collateral, and financial tracking.
  • Ensuring loans are processed and serviced in compliance with all regulatory requirements as well as bank policy.
  • Preparing loan reports for monthly board meetings as well as internal audits and regulatory exams.
  • Providing expertise and training on all loan servicing and documentation issues, including involved ownership structures, loan types, and securitization.
  • Creating and overseeing the documentation process for commercial loans, including closing checklists, collateral valuation reviews, title policies, surveys, UCC searches, credit bureaus, and flood determination.
  • Maintaining compliance with credit terms, loan/security agreements, and regulatory and internal guidelines (processes and procedures).
  • Preparing annual reviews of the staff and conducting training as needed.
  • Providing supporting checklists and ensuring compliance with processes and procedures implemented by the organization.
  • Providing leadership support and is actively involved in the development and implementation of Special Projects as delegated upper management.
  • Serving as the application manager for Decision Pro and Laser Pro.

You also bring the following skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; may be waived in lieu of banking experience.
  • Two or more years of loan administration experience.
  • Experience with real estate closings and working knowledge of required documents.
  • Knowledge of accounting and loan systems.
  • Above-average proficiency in loan documentation and servicing software systems, including experience with the implementation of new systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
