Los Angeles – Credit Officer – C&I & CRE (106739)

Mia has been a Senior Credit Officer for 12 years and enjoys all elements of commercial lending credit policy, analysis, and underwriting.

She is seeking an opportunity with a Los Angeles area bank.

Mia’s career skills as a Senior Credit Officer include:

  • Underwrote various types of C&I and CRE, with a focus on loans secured by commercial real estate.  This includes appraisal review, environmental review, as well as various financial analyses.
  • Develop and maintain Allowance for Loans and Lease Losses (ALLL) model; Conduct ALLL analysis on a quarterly basis.
  • Review bank loan policy modify as needed
  • Conduct Commercial Real Estate Concentration Analysis with market research on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage, build and implement Stress Testing model to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Managed special assets workouts, loan risk rating, and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough analysis on the bank’s portfolio on an annual basis.
  • Develop and maintain various macro-enabled credit templates, such as the Credit Approval Template for all types of commercial loans offered by the bank.  This template serves the purpose of supporting credit analysis, compliance, documentation, loan accounting, as well as reporting and final approval.
  • Manage all facets of Credit and Loan Documentation Unit.
  • Set up bridge between the bank’s Fiserv core system and the underwriting CASH system for automatic filling of loan data.
  • Set up and oversee the bank’s annual term loan review system.
  • Handle various audits throughout the year; Assist in preparing response to audit reports.
  • Reviewed/approved various commercial loans and lines following the bank’s credit policy and corresponding banking laws and regulations.
  • Set up and maintain the loan documentation system for various loan types in LASERPRO (the bank’s documentation system).
  • Oversaw loan documents generation and execution, including working with attorneys and legal resources to ensure correct and accurate documents to fully protect the bank’s interest
  • Oversaw loan funding/closing.
  • Managed assigned asset based loans by analyzing monthly borrowing base and quarterly financial statements, conducting quarterly export order audits, and reviewing semi-annual field exams.

Mia is asking for a base salary minimum of $100K.
