David has been a Commercial Portfolio Manager for six years with a total of 15 years of related banking experience.

He is seeking an opportunity with a Philadelphia / Wilmington area bank.

David’s career skills as a Portfolio Manager include:

  • Established, managed, and developed a $250MM+ complex credit portfolio and conducted underwriting, and oversaw annual reviews, trend analysis, and risk assessments
  • Coordinated with a team of three relationship managers on customer engagement, loan approval, and deal proposal creation, and managed communications with credit analysts and clients.
  • Grew the primary portfolio by over $18MM in loans, $5MM in deposits, $133K in fee income, and $37K in partner revenue..
  • Prepared credit submission packages comprised of deal overviews, financials, and terms, conducted cash flow analysis, and presented relationship reviews to senior management and loan committees.
  • Negotiated loan documentation, credit structure, interest rates, fees, and collateral requirements.
  • Conducted annual relationship reviews, verified credit files against credit agreements, assessed relationship profitability, tested covenant compliance, and provided reports to borrowers and approval bodies.
  • Analyzed portfolios trends including financial performance, gross, operating, net, and EBITDA margins, liquidity, leverage, and turnover, and established a spreadsheet for financial monitoring.
  • Conducted industry and client research utilizing web resources, RMA, IBISWorld, and field newsletters.
  • Managed the client pipeline, monitored call activity, tracked and coordinated contact information, sales and referral opportunities, and composed reports for the Senior Lender.
  • Managed credit files for all middle market relationships in both CRE and C&I.
  • Trained 10 analysts in financial statement and cash flow analysis, underwriting, and complex credit structure.
  • Ensured compliance with federal regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, AML regulations, the NFI program, and the CRA through the monitoring of documentation, loans, and environmental reports.
