The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Regional Bank Leader role in the Pittsburgh, PA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at banks within an assigned geographic area.

The position includes a salary of up to $120K plus bonus and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)

Regional Bank Leader responsibilities include:

  • Leading and directing all sales and service activities of the retail bank branches within your assigned region.
  • Providing coaching, development, motivation, and support to the branch managers in your region.
  • Ensuring that the unmatched support resources that the bank provides to customer-facing staff are efficiently utilized.
  • Ensuring that bank policies and standard operating procedures are consistently and uniformly applied by all associates.
  • Instilling a strong customer service acumen in all staff members and leaders.
  • Training team members on all retail deposit/loan products.
  • Conducting Banking Center Manager meetings and maintains a high level of communication within the region.
  • Resolving personnel issues by working with the assigned human resources personnel to ensure resolution within established procedures and guidelines.
  • Evaluating performance on a constant basis, providing counseling and guidance as needed; annually prepare formal written performance appraisals in an honest and impartial manner, recommending salary increases and promotions as appropriate.
  • Acting as a bank security officer.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but is optional based on level of experience.
  • Seven or more years’ direct supervisory and leadership experience, preferably managing multiple retail bank branches.
  • Travel is required throughout the Region, as well as in the market as necessary.
  • The demonstrated competencies for this position include priority setting, communication, recruiting/hiring, performance management, sales management, coaching, motivating others, and decision-making.
  • Good knowledge of bank compliance.
  • Basic Knowledge of deposit operations.
  • Strong leadership skills.
