Terri has been a commercial underwriter for six years underwriting and related background and and enjoys all elements of credit analysis, underwriting and portfolio management.

She is seeking an opportunity with a Bay area bank.

Terri’s career skills as a Commercial Underwriter include:

  • Exercise own single signature approval authority up to two million in total relationship exposure
  • Monitored the loan life cycle with end-to-end credit management and partner closely with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Management Officers, Documentation, Legal, and other product services to deliver the most competitive products to clients whose revenues gross between $5MM and $50MM
  • As Portfolio Manager and Underwriter – booked $34MM in credit transactions compared to the average peer’s $31MM.
  • Areas of underwriting experience (CRE / C&I / ABL / SBA -504  / 7a etc) – CRE, C&I, and ABL)
  • Formal credit training? – Yes.  National Bank Program
  • Typical C&I Underwriting – Deal size averages $8 to $10MM in total relationship exposure
  • Typical CRE Underwriting? – Deal size averages $5MM in total relationship exposure
  • Maximum C&I deal underwritten? – Up to $20MM in total relationship exposure
  • Maximum CRE deal underwritten? – Up to $9MM in total relationship exposure
  • Responsible for in-depth commercial underwriting and structuring of credit transactions for new and existing clients, including new requests, renewals, reviews, and other credit actions with a high level of independence
  • Responsible for the assessment of credit risk while analyzing the client’s repayment ability, cash flow, and financial condition
  • Managed close relationship with 100+ clients to ensure a satisfactory banking experience while adhering to the Bank’s polices and regulatory compliance
  • Assist in portfolio monitoring and growing booked revenues  while driving total composite scores exceeding 100%, maintaining low criticized asset quality scores, and adhering to the Bank’s credit policies and OCC regulations

Terri is asking for a base salary minimum of $83K.
