The Position

Our client is seeking a fill a SBA Loan Administrator role in the Tampa, FL market. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing and ensuring proper due diligence, servicing, accounting, collections and maintenance of the Bank’s SBA loan accounts and credit extensions.

SBA Loan Administrator responsibilities include:

  • Processing new loan requests and serving as a secondary point of contact for SBA banking customers.
  • Producing loan commitment letters and loan documents.
  • Providing commercial relationship officers with regular reports including pipeline updates and financial statement tracking reports.
  • Keeping commercial relationship officers up to date regarding loan closings, maturities, modifications and delinquencies.
  • Maintaining current data in information systems and databases.
  • Tracking and collecting financial statements.
  • Assisting commercial relationship officers with line of credit reviews and annual loan reviews.
  • Providing general customer service support for the commercial loan department by phone and in-person.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field preferred.
  • Four or more years of specific SBA Loan Closing/Processing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • PC and internet proficiency.
