Statewide (FL) – Chief Financial Officer / Controller (107338)

Karen has been a Controller / Chief Financial Officer for nine years.

She is seeking an opportunity with a central Florida bank.

Karen’s career skills as a Controller / CFO include:

  • Manage the bank accounting and finance department and maintain the integrity of the financial statements and general ledger.
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end bank financial statements and footnotes.
  • Maintain the budget and reporting system and prepare the annual budget for the bank.
  • Maintain the asset liability model and prepare quarterly reports that are presented to the Member of Asset Liability Committee.
  • Prepare monthly board reports.
  • Oversee the quarterly regulatory reporting process. Prepare the call report and FRY-9
  • Oversee accounting for fixed assets, pre-paid accruals, and accounts payable.
  • Maintain the internal control system and oversee control processes.
  • Manage all internal and external audits related to the accounting and finance departments.
  • Oversee all month end and year end processes, entries, and financial reporting.
  • Approve all general ledger transactions
  • Prepare and present monthly and year-end financial statements to management.
  • Create and analyze job costing budgets and cash flow analyses that are presented to management.
  • Maintain primary contact with major clients, vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage the various state and federal regulatory filing requirements.
  • Implement various procedures to improve efficiencies throughout the company.
  • Certified Public Accountant, State of Florida

Karen is asking for a base salary minimum of $96K.
