Statewide (IA) – Chief Financial Officer (107231)

Alan has been a Chief Financial Officer for five years with 14 years of related bank experience.

He is seeking an opportunity with an Iowa bank.

Alan’s career skills as a Chief Financial Officer include:

  • Lead all accounting functions, author and amend accounting policies and procedures
  • Conduct asset liability management and sensitivity analysis, Chair of Asset Liability Committee
  • Supervise bond portfolio accounting and assist with bond portfolio management
  • Oversee general ledger activity, accounts payable function, and daily operations at all locations
  • Supervise daily Treasury (Cash Flow) activity and manage liquidity position 
  • Interpret financial reports for the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Board of Directors
  • Conduct internal financial analysis and complete peer comparisons
  • Prepare the annual budget and document annual budget assumptions in a Board Memorandum
  • Calculate ALLL adequacy and loan portfolio risk analysis, Develop ALLL analysis methodology 
  • Oversee operations staff in the organization.
  • Mentor and train middle management and supervisory staff within the organization
  • Lead the majority of the bank’s projects and initiatives over short, intermediate, and long terms
  • Manage internal and external financial and safety and soundness audits/examinations
  • Prepare (or supervise preparation) and submit all regulatory reports
  • Work as primary contact for regulators, third-party accounting firm, and legal counsel
  • Serve as trustee of both the 401(k) plan and employee stock ownership plan
  • Lead the Information Technology Steering Committee 

Alan is asking for a base salary minimum of $150K.
