Statewide (KY) – Compliance Analyst – BSA & AML (107891)

Linda has been a Compliance Specialist for five years with a total of eight years of related banking experience.

She is seeking an opportunity with a western Kentucky / Tennessee area bank.

Linda’s career skills as a BSA Compliance Specialist include:

  • Accountable to help maintain BSA/AML compliance monitoring and tracking mechanisms.
  • Serve as the back-up to the BSA Officer.
  • Research and review daily transactions (i.e. cash, large checks, ACH, monetary instrument sales, etc…) for suspicious activity.
  • Review and prepare the bank’s CTRs and e-file via FinCEN’s BSA E-filing system.
  • Utilize anti-money laundering/BSA software (NuMonitor) to monitor and report suspicious activity.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of suspicious activity detected and assist handling each situation.
  • Research suspicious activity presented to the BSA Officer, summarize, and e-file SARs via FinCEN’s BSA E-filing system.
  • Recording secretary for the Bank’s SAR Committee.
  • Search the OFAC and FinCEN 314a lists as they are updated for any potential matches to bank customers.
  • Review high and medium risk customers (including MSBs and private ATM owners) to assess any suspicious activity and determine the risk factor to the bank.
  • Review CIP for new customers and conduct risk ratings.
  • Monitor the bank’s IAT transactions, including those originated by bank customers, and build detailed spreadsheets used to summarize the activity.
  • Conduct yearly BSA training for all bank employees.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of Reg CC compliance, including policy updates.
  • Worked vendor (CSI NuMonitor) to customize rule based alert system to become more efficient for our monitoring needs.

Linda is asking for a base salary minimum of $55K (flexible).
