Statewide (TN) – Compliance Officer – CRA & Lending (107158)

Michael has been a Bank Compliance Officer for ten years with over 20 years of related banking experience.  He is seasoned in compliance covering all facets of banking and mortgage lending compliance.

He is seeking an opportunity with a Tennessee bank.

Michael’s career skills as a Compliance Officer include:

  • Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring the banking division and mortgage division CRA and loan compliance programs.
  • Research compliance issues, monitor and conduct compliance training.
  • Maintain the bank’s CRA and loan compliance policies and procedures including preparing revised polices when needed.
  • Ensure all banking and mortgage loans are in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations as related to fair lending, flood certifications and flood insurance policies. 
  • Review loan files for HMDA data and add to the LAR. 
  • Audit loan files for TRID disclosures, loan estimates and closing disclosures to ensure they are accurate and that disclosures were sent within the required time frame.
  • Ensure all loans are in compliance as related to declined and withdrawn loans including preparing adverse action notices.
  • Maintain appropriate working relationships with internal auditors and regulatory agencies. 
  • Responsible for hiring, managing and delegating tasks to the banking division compliance specialists.

Michael is asking for a base salary minimum of $70K.
