The Position

Our client is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a Temp to Perm. Universal Banker role in the Atlanta, GA market. The successful candidate will be the primary customer service contact handling all teller and personal banking responsibilities. The Universal Banker evaluates customer needs and advises the customer of the most beneficial products and services.

The position comes with a compensation of up to $14/Hr.

Universal Banker responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the customer’s needs are achieved by conducting a thorough financial needs assessment and offering the most appropriate products and services.
  • Generating leads, building new and maintaining existing customer relationships, resulting in outcomes that define great customer experience.
  • Processing consumer loan applications.
  • Performing all personal banking and teller procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of all Banks’s products and services.
  • Conducting sales calls to consumers, by phone or in person to achieve sales goals.
  • Setting-up customer access to various electronic services.
  • Actively engaging in the sales process to ensure the attainment of sales goals and objectives, while ensuring bank’s credit quality and risk management guidelines are maintained.
  • Analyzing customer loan and deposit needs and make recommendations to sell various Bank products and services.
  • Presenting a variety of product solutions to client needs.
  • Being actively involved in the community to enhance network opportunities and educate potential customers on the Bank products and services.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Two or more years’ experience in a banking environment.
  • Knowledge of Jack Henry SilverLake preferred.
  • Preferred experience in consumer loan origination and processing.
  • Home Equity/Mortgage experience a plus.
  • Ability to build positive relationships within the bank and capable of establishing professional expertise through integrity, dedication, and strategic counsel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience with Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Applications, IOS/ Android mobile app capabilities.
