The Position

Our client is seeking a fill a Commercial Loan Coordinator role in the Waukesha, WI market. The selected candidate will be responsible for commercial loan documentation preparation and development, coordinating closings, and performing post-closing processes.

This position offers a generous salary of up to $67K and full benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)

Commercial Loan Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Creating and reviewing commercial loan documents and legal agreements according to credit approval and internal policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal banking regulations.
  • Ensuring that loan covenants are properly documented, and exceptions are accurately identified prior to funding.
  • Coordinating funding, performing post-closing file review and ensuring perfection of liens on collateral.
  • Communicating with attorneys, appraisers and title companies to coordinate the details of loan transactions.
  • Obtaining and reviewing due diligence materials.
  • Maintaining deal pipelines and preparing quarterly reports.
  • Resolving issues/problems related to commercial loan applications.
  • Listening and responding to internal customers to assist other bank personnel.
  • Creating ticklers for outstanding conditions and trailing documents.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Associates Degree strongly preferred; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Two years of banking experience in loan processing, loan operations, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of systems including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, LaserPro, DecisionPro, Jack Henry Core Director and Synergy, or similar applications.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize time and tasks with Manager input.
  • Ability to work efficiently with supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive interpersonal business relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to navigate regulations and rules.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
