The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Community Outreach and Impact Analyst role in the Bayfield, CO market. The successful candidate will perform analysis and reporting of bank data related to its community impact and the required measurements required for all funding programs.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $75K along with an excellent benefits package.

Community Outreach and Impact Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing government program applications, related reporting requirements, and analysis of and monitoring of the impact on its communities.
  • Creating a strategy that best ensures the long-term success of the Bank’s utilization of the CDFI designation.
  • Financial and operational analysis as necessary for understanding and direction of Bank service efforts.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate preparation and filing of funding applications.
  • Following CDFI updates to ensure we stay relevant, compliant, and competitive.
  • Monitoring and compliance with ECIP (Emergency Capital Investment Program) objectives.
  • Assisting in the identification, development, and communication of strategies to facilitate compliance with funding source requirements.
  • Strategizing and completing annual CDFI Recertification.
  • Researching and leading funding applications, as well as handling ongoing compliance.
  • Leading efforts for annual impact report – selecting which programs and customers to highlight, collecting proper releases, directing marketing needs, drafting narratives, and copy editing.
  • Strategizing, implementing, and overseeing impact data collection which will be crucial to the ECIP Rate Reduction.
  • Cultivating relationships with state contacts that can potentially open the door to funding opportunities and participation.
  • Conducting advocacy and education with elected officials.
  • Assisting with marketing and communications related to CDFI initiatives, including attending monthly marketing meetings.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • High school diploma and two years of relevant work experience.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Prefer previous experience with CDFI Program.
  • Experience with public/private partnerships; bureaucratic experience; financial or lending acumen in nontraditional contexts.
  • Individual must be a self-starter and able to complete tasks with limited supervision.
  • Strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills, research, and analysis, ability to collaborate, understand organizational change, and awareness of the financial or developmental needs of underserved populations.
