The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Credit Analyst – CRE position in the Windham, NH area. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing historical trend and ratio analysis, and properly assessing cash flow, collateral, industry risks, guarantor strength, and all other major risks to the Bank.

This position offers a competitive salary of up to $75K and a full benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

Credit Analyst – CRE responsibilities include:

  • Developing critical written analysis for new loan opportunities, as well as review/renewals for new and existing commercial real estate, construction, and commercial & industrial loan relationships.
  • Prepare financial statement spreadsheets and independent credit analyses.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Loan Officers and Portfolio Managers to gather information to ensure the accuracy of loan request presentations.
  • Interact with customers through site visits, meetings, and/or calls, as necessary, to assist in the loan presentation process.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned by the Credit Manager.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree with a field of study preference in Business Administration, Finance, and/or Economics. Familiarity with the terms and concepts of real estate finance is a plus.
  • One or more years of commercial banking underwriting experience, preferably in commercial real estate lending.
  • Experience may include business banking, middle market, and/or specialty commercial banking, and commercial credit/risk oversight.
  • Sound knowledge of Bank loan policy, compliance, and loan operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with bank core systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
