The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill an Information Technology Operations Manager role in the Leesburg, FL area. The successful candidate will develop and oversee the Information Security Program (ISP).

The position includes a generous salary of up to $120K and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

IT Operations Manager responsibilities include:

  • Planning, directing, and coordinating the bank’s information security policies, setting procedures and guidelines to ensure that all information systems are functional, secure, and safeguarded throughout the bank and follow privacy, customer trust, and information security laws and regulations applicable to the bank.
  • Providing guidance and support for the development of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity programs for the bank.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of appropriate and effective controls to mitigate identified threats and risks.
  • Overseeing incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
  • Monitoring practices and controls to identify additions or enhancements and ensure actions are taken to mitigate areas of cybersecurity concern/weakness.
  • Reviewing Risk Assessments related to IT Products and Vendors ensuring the IT environments are adequately protected from potential risks and threats.
  • Meeting with Business Owners to analyze, document, and define requirements associated with new development or maintenance and enhancements to existing security roles and permissions.
  • Reviewing completed roles/permissions with users to ensure requirements are fully met.
  • Working with internal and external auditors to document and confirm that all security administrative duties are properly performed as well as demonstrate overall compliance.
  • Other duties assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology-related discipline or equivalent.
  • Five years of related experience in managing information security programs.
  • CISA, CBSM, CBVM, CBBCP, and or equivalents preferred.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and disseminate information regarding federal regulations and state banking law and computer systems.
  • Knowledge of networking and the Internet as well as all aspects of security, including authentication, access control, intrusion detection, firewalls, encryption, data integrity, disaster prevention, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong verbal, written, and public speaking skills and interpersonal skills to effectively present information, respond to questions, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals/training materials.
  • Compliance with and successful completion of training related to Bank Secrecy Act laws/regulations.
