The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Personal Banker role in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX market. The successful candidate will provide personalized service and advice to help clients achieve their financial goals. The role involves exceptional knowledge of how products and services operate/set up ensuring clients completely understand how recommendations best meet their needs.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $52K along with an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

Personal Banker responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the customer’s needs are achieved by conducting a thorough financial needs assessment and offering the most appropriate products and services.
  • Generating leads, building new and maintaining existing customer relationships, resulting in outcomes that define a great customer experience.
  • Performing all personal banking and teller procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of all Banks’ products and services.
  • Developing and managing relationships with business banking clients in the assigned business segment and/or geographic areas.
  • Conducting sales calls to consumers, by phone, or in person to achieve sales goals.
  • Actively engaging in the sales process to ensure the attainment of sales goals and objectives, while ensuring the bank’s credit quality and risk management guidelines are maintained.
  • Analyzing customer loan and deposit needs and making recommendations to sell various Bank products and services.
  • Presenting a variety of product solutions to client needs.
  • Being actively involved in the community to enhance network opportunities and educate potential customers on Bank products and services.
  • Opening and/or closing the Bank as necessary.
  • All other reasonable duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • One or more years of related retail banking experience.
  • Needs experience in new accounts for all types of deposit accounts.
  • Additional education/banking-related training preferred.
  • Ability to build positive relationships within the bank and capable of establishing professional expertise through integrity, dedication, and strategic counsel.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
