The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a VP of Marketing role in the Memphis, TN area. The successful candidate will provide support to all branches and departments and ensure the marketing and sales goals are met.

This opportunity comes with a generous salary of up to $125K and a full benefits program. (This is not a remote position).

VP of Marketing responsibilities include:

  • Managing the relationships and costs of the vendors that facilitate marketing initiatives.
  • Managing and reporting on the marketing budget.
  • Providing support to staff on marketing promotions.
  • Managing the various avenues that provide customer feedback (survey invitations, NPS reports, onboarding surveys) and report member responses to various departments
  • Documenting all procedures and processes to ensure department sustainability and continuity.
  • Reporting on specific marketing activities and campaigns (email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, etc.).
  • Developing customer-facing promotions with input from other areas.
  • Managing all customer communication avenues (email, text, etc.).
  • Providing support to sales and business development staff in the form of ads, flyers, lead lists, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Four-year degree is required, preferably with a degree in marketing. Extensive experience will be considered in place of education.
  • Some design skills are a plus but not a requirement.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Solid decision-making skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to plan.
  • PC skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other programs as needed).
