  • Experience:
    • Extensive knowledge of banking regulations, lending policies and procedures, loan underwriting, loan approval, and loan review (CRE, C&I, Ag, SBA 504 and 7a).
    • Primary regulatory contact person regarding loan portfolio and external loan review.
    • Identify potential problem credits and work with loan officers to restructure the credit and minimize losses.
    • Establish, implement, and manage loan-related policies and procedures to protect the quality and profitability of the Bank’s loan portfolio.
    • Responsible for managing the overall credit quality and portfolio management of the bank’s loan portfolio and the maintenance of the ALLL per the Bank’s Loan Loss Reserve (ALLL) policy and the conversion to Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL).
    • Oversee and manage delinquency levels of bank loan portfolio including “Special Assets” and work out loans. Maintained and updated the impaired loan list including quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors. Identify loans meeting non-accrual or charge-off criteria and assign appropriate risk ratings.
    • Prepare periodic studies of various portions of the loan portfolio in the areas of credit quality, concentrations, pricing, and growth for the benefit of senior management and the Board of Directors.
    • Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual management and Board of Director reports regarding lending.
    • Chairs the Senior Loan Committee, and Executive Loan Committee and voting member of the Board Loan Committee and provide concurrence approval for loans with an individual lending authority of $1MM
    • Serve on the Asset and Liability Management Committee and lead the lending portion of the Asset Liability Management (ALCO) process, including the oversight and management of loan pricing.
  • Leadership Experience:  Trained the new CCO, managed 7 direct reports, and is state and fed-regulated.
