  • Seasoned CRE underwriter with strong knowledge in CRE and C&I, experience in all credit areas, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and exposure to CECL.
  • Average commercial loan deal size underwritten is $1MM-$5MM and up to $18MM.
  • Perform annual loan reviews, prepare detailed loan packages for the Committee, financial statement spread requests, loan covenant testing, market evaluations, and loan repricing risk assessments.
  • Conducted in-depth financial statement analysis on over $120MM in credit requests, primarily of $93MM in CRE loans, focusing on industrial, retail, C-stores, multi-family, office, and hospitality.
  • Underwrote over $23MM in loans for homebuilders in central Texas.
  • Conducted detailed underwriting of commercial real estate loans, ensuring alignment with credit policies.
  • Skilled in conducting in-depth financial analysis, identifying subtle risk indicators, and assessing complex credit structures.
  • Experienced in evaluating market conditions, property valuations, debt service coverage ratios (DSCR), and other KPIs to determine credit risk.
  • Trained junior analysts and collaborated with loan officers and market presidents to structure deals effectively.
  • Responsible for reviewing loans within the Bank’s portfolio monthly to assess the credit quality of each relationship and present key findings to the Committee.
