• Experience:
  • Managed a BSA team of three FTE.
  • Experience with BSA/AML, KYC, HMDA, CRA, Fair Lending, Sarbanes-Oxley, Deposit Regs, and Electronic Banking.
  • Experienced with OCC, State, and FDIC.  
  • Creation and implementation of the BSA/AML and OFAC Policy (full BSA Program) to include procedures.
  • Responsible for the look-back review and remediation.
  • Apply a risk-based approach to the monitoring and tracking of existing customer base (high, medium, and low risk).
  • Coordinate and assist with the administration of independent, state, and federal regulatory, and audit examinations and reviews.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory BSA/AML examinations and audits as well as follow-up on actions taken to ensure deficiencies are corrected.
  • Responsible for the communication of results of monitoring and examinations to department managers, senior management, and the Board of Directors when applicable.
  • Analysis of the reports for New Accounts, ATM activity, RDC and Mobile Check Deposits, ACH and wire transfers, and Loan activity for potential fraud activity.
  • Installation and implementation of AML and Fraud monitoring software.
  • Utilizes investigative techniques surrounding fraud and loss events and communicates as needed with clients, business partners, and law enforcement
  • Bilingual in English and Portuguese.
  • CAMS Certified.
