- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring the accuracy, and completeness of financial statements.
- Review monthly financial packages including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, with full accountability for trial balance components such as EBITDA and capex.
- Conduct thorough reconciliation procedures, comparing financial records to ensure the accuracy and validity of transactions through meticulous matching with corresponding documentation.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing cash receipts minus expenses, ensuring organizational liquidity to meet short-term obligations and invest effectively in operations.
- Administer the company’s financial borrowing and extension of credit, managing terms of repayment and policies to mitigate credit risk associated with customer accounts receivable.
- Develop and enforce internal controls, such as segregation of duties, to protect company assets and ensure adherence to policies and procedures, reducing the risk of fraud and errors while increasing operational efficiency.
- Organize information and statements for external auditors.
- Contribute to the development of company growth by providing financial analyses and the financial impact of the Company.
- Monitor financial performance metrics, analyze budgeted projections against actual performance, implement corrective actions to address variances, and provide financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support operational and strategic initiatives while reporting significant budget differences and recommending improvements.
- Guide annual budgeting process by establishing and communicating schedules, managing templates, and providing support to prepare forecasts, operating budgets, and capital budgets.
- Direct the administration of timely and accurate payroll processing, ensuring precise calculation of wages, benefits, and deductions while maintaining compliance with tax regulations.
