The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role to be based in greater Cincinnati, OH market. This candidate is the CFO of the bank overseeing all of the bank’s accounting functions. The selected candidate will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of bank operations including; accounting and controls, regulatory reporting, financial analysis, and management reporting. We are searching for someone who is both a strategic visionary and a day-to-day leader.
This position offers a generous salary of up to $110K plus bonus and a full benefits package.
Chief Financial Officer responsibilities include:
- Directing all bank accounting functions
- Responsible for the bank’s strategic planning.
- Directing and reviewing the preparation of budgets.
- Arranging and overseeing audits of the company’s accounts.
- Call report review, and assisting in public filings
- Working in direct collaboration with CFO to address liquidity and funding.
- Will be an active member of ALCO
- Participating in month-end close procedures including posting journal entries and meeting with the department to review budget to actual cost.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from a four-year college or university required.
- Five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in PC software such as Excel, Word, and Access.
- Excellent attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, listening, and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities, meet deadlines and resolve highly complex financial problems.
