The Position
Our Georgia-based community bank client is seeking to fill a Remote Director of Vendor Management role. This position will be responsible for managing product orders and vendor relationships.
The position includes a generous salary of up to $150K and an attractive full-benefits program. (This is a remote position).
Director of Vendor Management responsibilities include:
- Management of product and service contracts, negotiations with vendors, and oversight of implementation and after-sales service.
- Reporting and market trends analysis.
- Developing and coordinating new policies and procedures regarding vendor selection.
- Directing and engaging in vendor pricing and minimum quality standards negotiations from chosen suppliers/vendors.
- Preparing cost analysis for vendor comparisons.
- Conducting analysis of program policies and procedures, developing plans, formulating guidelines, implementing new developments and procedures, and providing policy interpretation for vendor management.
- Monitoring approval of accounts and service level agreements to maintain an appropriate degree of control over vendor relationships.
- Remaining current on market trends with competitors, and suppliers, and maintaining pipelines with alternative vendors to ensure company standards are maintained.
- Managing the after-sales service efforts, including delivery and implementation schedules.
