The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Junior Commercial Lender role in the San Antonio, TX market. The selected candidate shall be responsible for developing, soliciting, and promoting the Commercial Lending Line of Business.
This position offers a generous salary of up to $105K plus bonus and a full benefits program.
Junior Commercial Lender responsibilities include:
- Generating new commercial business through prospecting, outside calling, networking and referrals.
- Making commercial loans that maintain an acceptable level of performance.
- Effective monitoring, administration, and maintenance of existing commercial banking portfolio in accordance with the organization’s standards
- Performing sales activities to develop new relationships with business clients.
- Developing and maintaining referral networks with local insurance agents, real estate brokers, accountants, attorneys, and other professionals.
- Maintaining credit quality in accordance with the organization’s guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with consumer protection statutes/regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Two or more years of experience in the financial industry preferred.
- Some sales experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly across all lines of business.
- Knowledge of Word and Excel.
