The Position
Our community bank client is seeking to fill a Mortgage Loan Servicing Supervisor role in the Chicago, IL market. The successful candidate will be overseeing the process for loan applications, ensuring that information is collected properly and that necessary financial information is on hand for efficient loan processing; administer the Correspondent Lending Program. Gathers HMDA data and prepares related reports.
The position includes a generous salary of up to $65K and an excellent benefits program. (This is not a remote position).
Mortgage Loan Servicing Supervisor responsibilities include:
- Manage loan-servicing operations including, interviewing, scheduling, approving and tracking time-off, training, coaching and evaluating staff
- Develop and/or recommend department policies and/or procedures
- Verify daily account maintenance and review system reports
- Review repaid loans, monthly report and filing canceled account cards
- Monitor and respond to consumer credit bureau disputes
- Research and resolve loan account errors and make corrections as needed
- Prepare pending loan files to verify all documents are received and organized
- Coordinate efforts with title companies and obtain overdue police
- Monitor delinquent accounts, send notices and collect payments
- Respond to customer issues and questions regarding loan servicing
- Process and/or review loan pay-off statement
- Assist with preparation of tax payments and oversee payment to various counties
- Monitor annual escrow analysis and respond to related customer question
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Four-year college degree in a related field preferred.
- Three or more years of Cash Management/Outbound Sales experience required.
- Ability to analyze statements.
- Knowledge of Documentation and Core Systems.
- Ability to work directly with Third Party Vendors as assigned.
- Ability and willingness to assist other Cash Management team members as needed
- Extensive outbound calling experience with Commercial Customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
