The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Senior Mortgage Operations Manager role located in the greater Atlanta, GA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supervisors, identifying and managing vendor relationships and products, developing and maintaining required manuals and managing reports.
The position includes a generous salary of up to $100K and excellent benefits package.
Senior Mortgage Operations Manager responsibilities include:
- Directly managing supervisors and holding them accountable to goals and action plans.
- Identifying the needed reports necessary to manage capacity, critical dates, loan status, and service quality.
- Working directly with Quality Control Manager to identify recurring issues, process weakness or corrective action needed to aggressively address quality control issues.
- Hiring top talent through a deliberate recruiting, interview, reference, and testing protocol.
- Leveraging top talent through promotions, best practices and meetings and conference calls.
- Conducting Performance Reviews on a regular basis.
- Identifying and managing vendor relationships and products. Periodic review of vendor relationships to ensure cost effectiveness and product/service value.
- Interacting with indirect reports and Loan Officers.
- Actively engaging and interacting with other Departments Heads to ensure a team approach for quality and efficiency. Interacting with the QC and Underwriting Managers is critical to success of the position.
- Developing and Maintaining of requires manuals, job aids and training tools to ensure direct and indirect reports have needed resources to meet goals.
- Requiring and conducting (with supervisors) training as necessary to ensure staff is educated on industry, investor, and company requirements.
- Attending outside training and consulting with industry peers to ensure safety and best practices.

- Five or more years’ Mortgage/Operations Leadership or Supervision
