The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Senior Operations Specialist in the Milwaukee, WI market. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Bank’s operational systems and implementing efficiencies including system implementation and current system maintenance.

Loan Operations Officer responsibilities include:
- Overseeing FIS System Management to include CIS, Interface Maintenance, and Product Plan Control in Exceptions Desktop.
- Conducting project management functions as related to FIS conversions and other projects as assigned and directed by the Controller, SVP & CFO, Compliance Officer and President/CEO.
- Developing and implementing training curricula and working with Trainers/Department Managers to disseminate training materials through necessary departments.
- Overseeing daily operational activities including: Preparing government reporting, FR2900, levies and garnishments, unclaimed property, backup withholding and Wisconsin sales/use tax, provides backup support to accounts payable, reconcilement of monthly operational activities, general ledger principal and controls accounts, and monitoring CIP Information, new account processing/editing.
- Supporting other positions and functions of the Bank when needed.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Finance or Accounting Associates Degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three or more years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in accounting or finance, preferably in a Banking environment with FIS System Products.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of people, both written and verbal.
- A high aptitude for accuracy and analytical thinking.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet time deadlines.
- Ability to make logical decision and carry out decisions made.
- Ability to work effectively and non‐defensively with a variety of personalities in a team environment.
