The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Senior SBA Credit Analyst role in the Orlando, FL market. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing credit data to estimate the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money to businesses for SBA 7a, SBA 504, SBA Express and USDA B&I loan programs. Requires developing and maintaining a customer-focused relationship with SBA Partners by exhibiting a high level of collaboration, timely communication and prompt response to inquiries.
This position comes with a generous salary of up to $85K and an attractive benefits package.
Senior SBA Credit Analyst responsibilities include:
- Spreading the financial information including ratio analysis and prepare a written report analyzing the data, the borrower’s ability to service the debt, cash flow requirements, and the strengths and weaknesses of the credit.
- Ensuring loan packages are complete prior to submission to underwriting.
- Identifying appropriate entity structures as well as verification of any affiliate businesses.
- Monitoring and collecting signed commitment letters and fees.
- Ordering 3rd party reports (appraisals, environmental assessments, business valuations, etc.)
- Performing the risk rating analysis and review request for potential portfolio concentration issues.
- Conferring with lenders and borrowers about their loan requests and any questions that must be answered prior to submission.
- Attending Loan committees to provide commentary as needed by the lender in support of the loan request.
- Adhering to and complying with Bank policies, procedures, applicable state and federal laws and regulatory guidance.
- Participating in job specific and other various bank training programs as required.
- Training and mentoring junior analysts as requested.
- Performing other related duties as requested or assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four or more years of related finance or business analyst experience.
- Knowledge of SBA loan structuring, underwriting, documentation, and credit.
- Solid credit analysis and accounting skills.
- Strong critical thinking, organization, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills with an attention-to-detail focus.
- Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, meet strict timelines, and interact effectively at all levels.
- Proficiency with Windows PC environment and Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel product.
