The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill a Technology Operations Specialist role in the Oklahoma City, OK market. The successful candidate will resolve technical issues while documenting problems and resolutions and communicating the resolutions to the SVP of Operations/ISO. The candidate will provide strategic guidance and counsel Bank staff in the assessment and development of existing and/or proposed systems.
The position includes a generous salary of up to $60K along with an excellent benefits package. (This is NOT a remote position).
Technology Operations Specialist responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations.
- Developing requests for and evaluate proposals in reference to leading-edge information services technology with the knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology with regards to banking.
- Managing technical aspects of project teams and undertake technical project roles when required.
- Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults.
- Providing expertise and support during system upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.
- Consulting with users, management, vendors contractors, analysts, developers, and technicians to access computing needs and system requirements.
- Providing daily operations and systems support to personnel.
- Managing network drives and reports, archiving and deleting when appropriate.
- Preparing and creating workflows for time/cost efficiencies.
- Assisting SVP of Operations with internal and external auditors as well as regulatory examiners.
- Assisting with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing.
- Performing other duties as required by management.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related major and a minimum of five years’ work experience in bank operations or eight to ten years’ work experience in bank operations.
- In-depth, experience with core systems, FIS, Fiserv, or Jack Henry.
- Knowledge and understanding of the current and developing strategic information requirements of a Bank.
- Ability to fully understand bank core processing systems, transaction processing, account opening, closing, and maintenance as well as banking policies and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis of computer hardware/software systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people.
- Demonstrate high standards of professional behavior and confidence when interacting with staff and/or vendors.
- Ability to multi-task and advance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
