The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Chief Operating Officer role to be based in the Oklahoma City, OK area. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all day-to-day operational activities of the Bank.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $115K plus bonus and excellent benefits package.

Chief Operating Officer responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all operational aspects of the Bank’s activities operate in a safe and sound manner in the best interest of shareholders, the Board of Directors, customers, employees, and the public.
  • Supervising and working closely with management to ensure the operational effectiveness, sustainability, and resiliency of the Bank.
  • Bringing direction, driving change and improvement by convening, informing, supporting, influencing and mentoring.
  • Ensuring all Bank operations and IT are effectively integrated to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to accommodate current and future organizational plans, programs, and needs.
  • Providing the highest level of customer relations and service; and ensuring compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and processes as well as regulatory compliance.
  • Performing supervisory duties of department staff, coordinating staff for coverage in all related areas of the department.
  • Maintaining a strong, open line of communications with the Board of Directors, Management and staff.
  • Synthesizing complex or diverse information; collecting and researching data; using intuition and experience to complement data; designing workflows and procedures.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • B.S. /B.A. in Operations Management or similar discipline or equivalent work experience (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Five or more years of recent bank operations management experience including Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, and IT.
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Can demonstrate strategic planning skills
  • Thorough knowledge of bank operations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to stay productive in a high growth, dynamic environment.
