The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Chief Operating Officer role to be based in the Oklahoma City, OK area. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all day-to-day operational activities of the Bank.
The position includes a generous salary of up to $115K plus bonus and excellent benefits package.
Chief Operating Officer responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that all operational aspects of the Bank’s activities operate in a safe and sound manner in the best interest of shareholders, the Board of Directors, customers, employees, and the public.
- Supervising and working closely with management to ensure the operational effectiveness, sustainability, and resiliency of the Bank.
- Bringing direction, driving change and improvement by convening, informing, supporting, influencing and mentoring.
- Ensuring all Bank operations and IT are effectively integrated to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Developing and implementing strategies to accommodate current and future organizational plans, programs, and needs.
- Providing the highest level of customer relations and service; and ensuring compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and processes as well as regulatory compliance.
- Performing supervisory duties of department staff, coordinating staff for coverage in all related areas of the department.
- Maintaining a strong, open line of communications with the Board of Directors, Management and staff.
- Synthesizing complex or diverse information; collecting and researching data; using intuition and experience to complement data; designing workflows and procedures.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- B.S. /B.A. in Operations Management or similar discipline or equivalent work experience (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Five or more years of recent bank operations management experience including Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, and IT.
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Can demonstrate strategic planning skills
- Thorough knowledge of bank operations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to stay productive in a high growth, dynamic environment.
