The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill an Information Technology Manager role in the Lander, WY area. The successful candidate will develop and execute the bank’s technology strategic plan to optimize the use of information technology in support of business objectives.
The position includes a generous salary of up to $120K and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position).
Information Technology Manager responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the bank’s network infrastructure and maintaining regulatory compliance by conducting regular disaster recovery testing in accordance with the bank’s business continuity plan.
- Maintaining a strong internal controls environment for IT systems, banking systems, and cybersecurity.
- Overseeing the bank’s technology-related vendors and conducting annual due diligence to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Providing hardware, software, and network support to bank personnel.
- Leading helpdesk support efforts by making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
- Responsible for all IT expenditures and budgets, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiating all technology-related contracts, soliciting involvement and participation of bank management and appropriate staff.
- Assisting bank management with the evaluation, selection, implementation, and maintenance of all internal and customer-facing information systems, ensuring appropriate investment in strategic and operational systems.
- Developing and enforcing policy and procedures to ensure the bank is operating in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Proactively manage technology-related
- Ensuring all necessary internal and vendor-provided controls and procedures are in place, active, and effective to mitigate the likelihood of a cybersecurity breach. projects to deliver them in scope, on time, and within budget.
- Standardizing IT processes, information security, and cybersecurity controls across the bank’s network.
- Identifying deficiencies and control gaps to determine where improvements are necessary.
- Other duties assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Five or more years of IT Management experience preferably in a banking environment.
- Extensive experience with IT strategic planning, budgeting, policy development, and management.
- Experience in managing functions and departments dealing with information handling, workflow, and systems.
- Background in designing and developing IT systems and managing outsourced projects.
- Experience in a multi-location business environment.
- Ability to give oral reports to the IT Steering Committee and Board of Directors.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues effectively to management, bank personnel, and vendors.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically.
