The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Loan Servicing/Documentation Assistant role in the greater Phoenix, AZ market.  The selected candidate will be responsible for assembling proper documentation packages for commercial, residential and commercial real estate loans.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $62K and excellent benefits package.

Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist / Processor responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining financial institution loan records.
  • Inputting loan information, processing loan changes, and reviewing entered information for accuracy.
  • Processing documents for payments.
  • Establishing and maintaining files on each loan and ensuring that the information is complete and accurate before processing and forwarding to the loan officer for approval.
  • Recording and tracking insurance on loan collateral.
  • Recording documents, as needed.
  • Receiving and processing loan payments.
  • Preparing loan documentation for pre-disclosures and/or loan closings.
  • Processing UCC filings and balancing loan accounts.
  • Assisting customers, in person or over the phone, with routine inquiries regarding payoffs, changes of ownership, note modifications, beneficiaries, and other loan details.
  • Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of customers, other employees, and the Bank.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • One or more years loan operations or two or more years of banking experience. Loan documentation knowledge preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of LaserPro Software preferred.
  • Ability to pay attention to the details and make a conscious effort to understand causes instead of effects, in a second nature.
  • Must work independently and as a member of the team.
