The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill a Mortgage Servicing role located in the Park Ridge, IL market. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing post-closing and other administrative tasks to support the mortgage loan servicing team. Involves frequent communication with members, vendors, and other positions within the department.
This position offers a generous salary of up to $55K and a full benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)
Mortgage Servicing responsibilities include:
- Reviewing loan documents post-closing, preparing title packages and loan disbursements, recording documents, and inputting loan information into the internal system.
- Performing new loan file audits post-closing and exports documents to/from applicable mortgage software programs.
- Insurance tracking, researching unidentified insurance, forcing placing coverage when necessary, completing escrow analysis, and working various insurance reports.
- Completing system maintenance on collection accounts, including pre-modification audits and investor & MI delinquent audits.
- Completing investor status updates on collection accounts and submits expense reimbursement requests.
- Generating payoff statements and posting payoff checks and preparing mortgage satisfactions on paid files.
- Posting payments from the teller exception account and monitoring the unapplied funds’ report.
- Assisting with member and associate requests.
- Assisting with training new co-workers as needed.
- Maintaining loan vault, including filing.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous mortgage servicing experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to the position. Must understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Knowledge of computer software and experience with loan accounting systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and determine priorities.
