The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Sr. Deposit Product Officer role in the Bayfield, CO area. The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring frontline staff have the tools to help customers, adhere to regulations, and be aware of procedures and changes to procedures, ensuring our commitment to unparalleled service.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $100K as well as an excellent benefits package.

Sr. Deposit Product Officer responsibilities include:

  • Drives development of consumer/business deposit products and services. Including, but not limited to, treasury management, pricing, and production to achieve deposit growth goals.
  • Assess, identify, and plan technology and process requirements to achieve end-to-end operations, execution, management, and oversight.
  • Oversee all manner of daily deposit operations inquiries, documentation requests, missing documents, account verification, garnishments, levies, subpoenas, etc.
  • Act as the bank’s SME for applicable deposit compliance regulations, including NACHA requirements and check clearing rules.
  • Respond to Exam/Audit/& internal monitoring exceptions, directs, and oversees corrective actions within Deposit Operations.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management related field.
  • Four or more years of bank operations, treasury, and payment experience in a community bank setting.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Direct experience with a wide range of deposit-related banking products and services including credit and debit cards, online banking, treasury services, and general deposit processing.
  • Proven experience systematically improving processes and reducing costs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
